Consilium Safety Group has acquired UniPOS and strengthened its position in the building fire detection market and production capabilities

Consilium Safety Group has acquired the fire detection company UniPOS. The acquisition will create substantial synergies for the group and a stronger supply chain, production, sales, and R&D, in terms of both capacity and capability.

The Swedish safety company Consilium Safety Group and the Bulgarian fire detection company UniPOS have had a valuable partnership since 2015. As a result of Consilium Safety Group’s recent acquisition of a majority of the shares in UniPOS, the collaboration is fortified. Together the companies are now ready for the next phase and to benefit from each other’s strengths.

Established in 1995, UniPOS today has 60 MSEK in revenues and 140 employees split between two sites, in Sofia and Pleven. The company´s main activity is to design, manufacture, and sell a range of high-tech fire-alarm solutions for commercial and industrial applications.
