- BS or MS (preferred) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent
- Experience in programming in C++
- At least two years of experience in the similar job position
- Good knowledge and experience of embedded systems
- A general understanding of electronics
- It is an advantage if you also have experience in Functional safety
The one we are looking for
We are currently looking for a Software Developer for our Research & Development department in Gothenburg. This is a full-time, permanent position, and you will be reporting to the manager of Software Development.
As a Software Developer, you will work as a part of an agile cross-functional team with the mission to
develop and maintain embedded systems for both new and existing products. The projects could vary
from smaller customer projects to larger product updates.
As the products are required to fulfill different standards for Safety and Fire- and Gas Detection, it is
an advantage if you have experience from Functional Safety or related standards.
The software is mostly developed in C++ and the operating system is Linux or bare metal.
- Define SW requirements from system requirements
- Develop SW architecture and design and implement accordingly
- Develop SW test specifications and carry out corresponding tests
- Maintain and develop deployment and build process
